Throughout the year, the CORE team works together to support a variety of charitable causes in our local community and beyond. Learn more about them below!

CCAP

Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP)

CCAP provides a wide spectrum of programs designed to help families in the state of Rhode Island. Every holiday season, the CORE team participates in the Adopt-A-Family gift drive where we team up to purchase, wrap, and deliver Christmas presents to families in need.

The Tomorrow Fund

The Tomorrow Fund is a local charity here in Providence, RI that provides assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families at Hasbro Children’s Hospital such as home and living expenses, co-payments for medical services, and travel stipends for medical care. In 2020, a donation was made in the name of CORE clients to The Tomorrow Fund during the holiday giving season.

Animal Protection League

The CORE team is full of animal lovers! Located near CORE’s headquarters, the East Greenwich Animal Protection League is an animal shelter that works to find homes for rescue animals in Rhode Island. Donations go towards food, cleaning supplies, medication, and veterinary care of their animals waiting to find their forever home.

Great Cycle Challenge USA

Every year, several members of our team participate in the Great Cycle Challenge with the goal of cycling as many miles as they can in order to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Great Cycle Challenge USA is a national Children’s Cancer Research Fund initiative held every September.
